Skills Hub is free in exchange for anonymised contribution to the UK's Human Skills Index dataset

Skills Hub is provided free of charge to all UK state and independent schools and further education colleges. There is no licence fee, no per-student charge, no tiered pricing and no procurement process. All that is required is a co-signed licence agreement and data processing agreement.

In return, your school contributes anonymised, aggregated assessment data to the Human Skills Index, the UK's standard measurement of the 8 capabilities AI cannot replace. Your individual student data remains yours. The wider dataset strengthens the index for everyone.

What the Licence Includes

  • Unlimited access to the Skills Hub platform for all students and staff at the institution. No student caps.
  • Student portal access (my.enterpriseskills.co.uk) and educator portal access (admin.enterpriseskills.co.uk)
  • Full simulation library, Human Skills Index scoring, portfolio system and Gatsby Benchmarks reporting (BM3, BM4, BM5, BM6)
  • Onboarding support, training resources and ongoing email support during the licence period
  • Annual renewal with no automatic fees, no price increases and no conversion to a paid tier

Dataset Contribution

Because the school is receiving the platform at no cost, the licence includes a standing contribution of anonymised, aggregated data to the Human Skills Index. Specifically:

  • What is shared: anonymised capability scores, time-on-task statistics, aggregated cohort trends and assessment response patterns
  • What is not shared: student names, contact details, school identifiers at record level, or any data that could identify an individual
  • How it is used: to calibrate the Human Skills Index, publish anonymised research on human skills in UK education and improve the platform for all users
  • Parental rights: parents may withdraw an individual student from the anonymised dataset at any time without affecting their platform access

Fee

£0. Skills Hub is free for all UK schools and further education colleges. There is no hidden fee, no upgrade path and no future price.

Licence period

12 months from activation, automatically renewed at no charge unless the school cancels.

Data processing

Covered by a co-signed Data Processing Agreement under UK GDPR. See our Data Processing Agreement summary.

Data ownership

The institution retains full ownership of all identifiable student data. Enterprise Skills Ltd processes identifiable data solely on the institution's instructions. Anonymised, aggregated data contributed to the Human Skills Index dataset is licensed under a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence for research and platform improvement purposes.

Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice. On termination, the institution may request return of all identifiable data in CSV format and deletion within 90 days. Anonymised data previously contributed to the HSI dataset is retained.

Support

Email support during UK school hours, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. Self-service onboarding is available for schools that prefer to get started without a call.

Acceptable use

The platform is licensed for use with enrolled students and staff of the institution. It may not be resold, sublicensed or used to deliver commercial training to third parties.
