Can we use more than one product?
Absolutely. Many schools use Business Simulations for enrichment days, Skills Hub (for education) for whole-school careers provision, and Skills Hub Business for the business studies department. They complement each other perfectly.
What's the difference between your platforms?
Skills Hub (for education) is designed for careers leads delivering to ALL students across the school. Skills Hub Business is designed for business/economics teachers delivering curriculum content. Skills Hub Workforce is for organisations training employees. The education version includes Workplace Readiness Scores and Gatsby evidence. Business includes exam board mapping and specification alignment. Workforce focuses on professional development.
We already use Springpod. Do we need Skills Hub?
Springpod is excellent for career exploration and employer encounters (Gatsby Benchmark 5). Skills Hub measures skill development through a Workplace Readiness Score. Springpod shows "explored 10 careers." We show "scored 78/100 on commercial awareness." They serve different purposes, use both for comprehensive provision.
What Gatsby Benchmarks do you cover?
- Skills Hub (for education): Meets Benchmarks 3 (individual needs/tracking) and 4 (curriculum links). Supports Benchmarks 5 and 6.
- Business Simulations: Support Benchmarks 5 (employer encounters via virtual challenges) and 6 (workplace experiences via simulation).
- Skills Hub Business: Supports Benchmark 4 (curriculum links for business subjects).
How much teacher training is required?
Minimal. Business Simulations are fully facilitated, we run everything. Skills Hub tools require zero to five minutes setup. Most teachers are confidently using the platform within their first session.
Can students access this from home?
Yes. All Skills Hub tools work on any device with a browser. Parents can also purchase direct B2C access for £10/month.
